What does it mean to be Dynamic Motivated Christlike?
Dynamic comes from the Greek words dynamikos, which means
powerful, from dynamis, which means power, and from dynasthai, which means to be able. It is of or relating to physical force
or energy. It is also of or relating to dynamics or kinetics, which is the energy of motion. It is marked by usually continuous
and productive activity or change. It is energetic and forceful. It is also an underlying cause of change or growth.
Mark 16:15-18 gives us our marching orders. We are told to, “And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and
preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be
damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick,
and they shall recover.
Motivated comes from the root
word motive. Motive in French comes from the word motif, which means moving. It also comes from the Latin word motivus, which
means to move. Motivated generally means something (as a need, desire, or intent) that causes a person to act.
Hebrews 4:12 says, “For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even
to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of
the heart.
Christlike means walking as Jesus walked. He is our example
in every area of our life. In Genesis 1:26-27 the Word says: ”And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our
likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over
all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in his own image, in the image
of God created he him; male and female created he them.”
We were created in the image of God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit and have had dominion over all of the things on Earth
since creation. Now, when Adam sinned, he gave away his authority and allowed Satan to give him in exchange the sin by which
Satan was thrown out of heaven. But, God had a plan and we were in it. He sent His son Jesus to pay the debt for this deception
and thus reconcile us to Him and put us back in our rightful place.
In 1 Corinthians 15:47-49 we read, “The first man is of the earth, earthy; the second man is the Lord from heaven.
As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly. And as
we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.”
We are now a representative of Jesus and we are synonymous with Him. When you look in the mirror you must know that you
are seeing the very image of Jesus Christ.
2 Corinthians 3:18 says, “But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed
into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.”
We were selected from the beginning of time to be here, to do what we will be doing, and to accomplish what we were created
to accomplish.
Romans 8:29-39 validates this. It says, “For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to
the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also
called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified. What shall we then say
to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all,
how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God
that justifieth. Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right
hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress,
or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long;
we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things
to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ
Jesus our Lord.”
Jesus says we are to all things in His name. Philippians 2:9-11 says, “Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him,
and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and
things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory
of God the Father.”
The bottom line is we were created in the image of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; we are to walk on this Earth as
Jesus walked, in wisdom, power, and might; we are to fulfill the ministry of reconciliation set before us; and as we do this
we will move from glory to glory exercising dominion and authority over every opponent we face as we call on the name of Jesus.
GLORY TO GOD!
As you can see, “It’s More Than A Concept.….It’s A Lifestyle”
